Thesis Project - Update #21

Before Appointment

I started off by looking into entertainment precedents that exist around the world. I wanted to see how well the water park was designed. One example that I found was the newly built stadium built for the 2012 Beijing Olympics which was turned into an indoor water park. In addition, the same company made different water parks all around the world that range between indoor and outdoor waterparks.  

After Appointment

After meeting with Professor Duddy, he helped me determine an answer on whether the waterpark should be indoor or outdoor. In addition, he asked me to start a rough draft of my booklet to get a sense of how many pages I would need for part 1 of the thesis project.
